Jackie Chambers & Kim McAuliffe from Girlschool with Vive editor Eugene Butcher

Voodoo Marketing were proud sponsors of the ‘Best Film’ award category at the Vive Le Rock Awards hosted at London’s O2 Academy in Islington last month.

The ceremony featured some of the most celebrated artists of rock, punk, alternative and new wave including Killing Joke, Suzi Quatro and Lee Thompson from Madness to name but a few.

The night was a roaring success with the packed venue being treated with live sets from The Stranglers, Steve Diggle of the Buzzcocks, The Professionals’ Tom Spencer and former Sex Pistol and Rich Kid -Glen Matlock.

Lee Thompson accepted the award for Best Film with his “One Man’s Madness” – a lively BBC-4 documentary about the band Madness, while Steve Grantley of Stiff Little Fingers accepeted the Live Band award. The Blue Carpet Band won Best New Band and 70’s music legend Suzi Quatro won the Icon award.

Former Crystal Maze presenter Ed Tudor-Pole did an amazing job comparing the evening and even treated the audience with live performances of his classic songs.
